Here is a sample of the sumptuous cuisine that our Chef is creating at The Lodge this year. Individual items on the Menu will change from time to time, depending on the availability of the freshest produce and dining trends.

Chicken, potato and leek soup, topped with fried eschallots

Salad of goat's cheese, lavender honey, baby beets, chervil and fresh asparagus

Roasted pork belly with warm potato salad, braised red cabbage and caraway jus

Espresso poached pears, Kahlua tiramisu with almond praline

Antipasto platter with a selection of smoked meats, vegetables, olives and house-baked ale bread

Risotto of prawns, sugar snaps and semi-dried tomato topped with parmesan chips

Braised lamb shanks, cheese and spinach pie, stuffed tomato and tzatziki

Sticky date pudding with frangelico butterscotch sauce

Fondue with a trio of Australian cheese, crisp vegetables, cured meats and sourdough

Festive Christmas buffet with a selection of roast meats, vegetables and condiments

Cajun spiced Wagyu beef, caponate, smoked eggplant and crisp lavosh

Chicken breast with grilled polenta, tomato and basil salad, topped with roasted capsicum aioli

Fried brie, rocket and pear salad with tomato chutney and aged balsamic

Roasted veal sirloin on mushroom and thyme risotto topped with roasted garlic jus and parsnip chips
