Downhill Skiing and Snow Boarding

Perisher Blue Resort has 50 lifts and a skiable area of almost 12.5 sq kms, with a longest run of 3 km. Of the groomed runs, 22% are rated for Beginners, 60% Intermediate and 18% advanced, so there is something for every standard of skier. Smiggins has 4 T-Bars, 2 J-Bars, Triple Chair, 3 Rope Tows and a Magic Carpet. Access from Smiggins to the rest of Perisher Blue is via the Link T-Bar.

Snow Tubes

Perisher Blue has created a funtastic Snow Tube Park, known as Tube Town, at Mount Piper adjacent to the main Perisher car park. Snow Tubing is a lost cost, family-friendly way to enjoy the snow, for first-timers and experienced snow lovers alike.

Cross Country Skiing

Perisher Blue has an extensive range of trails for Cross Country (or Nordic) skiing.

Snow Shoeing

Snow shoeing has seen a resurgence in popularity in the last few years and further growth is anticipated in the coming years. Snow shoes have come a long way since the "converted tennis racquet" look of years gone by. Technology has made significant inroads - materials such as aluminium, polyurethane and the like are now the norm. Experts claim that no particular skills are required - if you can walk, you can snowshoe.
