The Lodge is delighted to introduce to you our new Managers, Paul Seisums and Lisa Schweitzer.

A couple of years ago, after extensive and varied careers in other areas, Lisa and Paul both decided to combine their hospitality experience with a love of skiing. This led them to lodge management in the NSW ski fields. Their passion for food, wine, travel, skiing and generally fussing over people, is at the centre of their approach to managing the "on snow" experience.

Lisa completed her Bachelor of Education (Physical Education) degree at Newcastle University in 1994.  Whilst studying, she worked in hospitality in Terrigal in a five star property for five years as well as some well respected local restaurants.  Over the years, Lisa has travelled throughout Western Europe (including a stint on the super yacht MV Slipstream), SE Asia, New Zealand and Canada where she gained her Canadian Level 2 Ski Instructor's qualification. 

You will find Lisa extremely approachable with a ready smile.

Paul has owned his own business for the past 10 years involved in property development consultancy, working on industrial, commercial and residential developments. Whilst studying, he also gained extensive experience in hospitality throughout Sydney, as well as in Terrigal at five star establishments.  Paul comes from a lodge background staying at Charlotte Pass from the age of four. He is a frequent traveller having worked and skied at over 20 resorts in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. He has numerous back-to-back seasons on professional ski patrol and retains all certifications.

Paul is an absolute ski-aholic - if you ask nicely he may take you to some secret powder stashes.

Their vision for The Lodge is to continue the relaxed, warm and friendly environment that is the trademark of The Lodge. They feel lip-smacking food is essential to The Lodge experience and for that reason, they have retained their head chef whose innovative menus use only the freshest ingredients available.

With a fresh outlook, they hope to add fun with the addition of trivia nights, a white Christmas and Warren Miller ski movie nights as well as the little extras that will make your stay memorable.
